Usage and Applications
FIPRO AK 962 is a product intended only for industrial uses and is used for materials in iron, cast iron, stainless steel, aluminum, copper, brass and galvanized sheets.

Alimentation
FIPRO AK 962 must be used diluted to a concentration from 5 to 10%, based on the degree of fouling of the system and must be added when the system is stopped. For a good cleaning you need:
18 - 24 hours with a solution temperature of 20-30 ° C
10 - 12 hours with a solution temperature of 50-60 ° C
Once the descaling is complete, the circuit must be emptied and rinsed.
After the rinsing phase, the use of an appropriate passivating agent (FIPRO AK 955) is recommended in order to form a protective film on the walls. During the cleaning phase, the color of the etching acid solution must be observed. When the color changes from red to yellow-brown, the descaling effect will be exhausted and the product must be replaced with a fresh solution.
The control of the concentration of FIPRO AK 962 in the solution can be carried out by titration.
A sample of 10 ml of solution will be titrated with Sodium hydroxide (NaOH) 1N, in the presence of Methyl Orange Indicator until it changes from red to yellow. The number of ml of 1N NaOH consumed, multiplied by 4.2, expresses the concentration of FIPRO AK 962 still active. It is recommended to contact the Fiprokim Technical Service for particular operational needs.
Storage
The product is supplied in bags and must be stored in the original packaging in dry and ventilated places. For use, use acid-resistant materials, preferably plastic (PVC, PE)
