FIPRO DEFOAM 153 is a silicone-free defoamer, which is widely used in industrial water purification operations, in the textile and tanning industry, in the production of water-based paints and waxes.
It is characterized by a low degree of flow and by the absence of stratifications even at low temperatures.
It is produced with a blend of suitably treated oils in order to obtain a fast and continuous antifoam effect.

Usage and Applications
In the industrial water purification operation, it is recommended to use 1-10 p.p.m- of FIPRO DEFOAM 153 antifoam.
FIPRO DEFOAM 153 defoamer exerts its action on surfactant foams, finishing resins (vinyl, acrylic and mixed), wax emulsions, protein derivatives, anionic, non-ionic, cationic foaming products.
FIPRO DEFOAM 153 antifoam can be used as it is or by diluting it to 10% c.a. in water, in the latter case it is advisable to shake the emulsion at 10% before use.
