FIPRO SG 593

PRODUCTS FOR THE REMOVAL OF ORGANIC AND INORGANIC CONTAMINANTS FROM MULTIMETAL SURFACES

Technical features

FIPRO SG 593 is an alkaline liquid degreaser formulated for the pre-treatment of surfaces in iron, steel, galvanized steel and alloys, before their phosphating.
The FIPRO SG 593 is particularly suitable for spray and immersion use.

Control of bathing

Take 10 ml of the bath using a calibrated pipette, place them in a flask, add 50 ml. of distilled water and 2 ÷ 3 drops of phenolphthalein indicator.
Titrate with 0.1 N sulfuric acid until the color changes from red-violet to colorless.
The number of ml of 0.1N sulfuric acid consumed for the color change indicates the score of the FIPRO SG 593 bath.
A bath prepared at 30 g / l has a score of approximately 4.8.

FIPRO SG 593 is used in aqueous solution, by spray and / or by immersion, in combination with a specific degreasing additive (recommended by the Fiprokim Technical Service) under the following operating conditions:

If the score is lower than its initial value, feed the bath with FIPRO SG 593 at a rate of 6.3 kg for each missing point and for every 1000 liters of bath.
