FIPROPHOS 544 is a liquid phosphodegreaser suitable for the treatment in spray systems of ferrous material and steel surfaces before painting.
FIPROPHOS 544 is a particular formulation that forms a deposit of iron oxides and phosphates on the surface of the product, with a layer weight between 0.6 ÷ 1.0 g / m2. It can also be used for the degreasing of parts in aluminum, zinc and their alloys.
Usage and Applications
Il FIPROPHOS 543 va utilizzato in soluzione acquosa a spruzzo, alle seguenti condizioni di esercizio:
Tempo di trattamento: 2 ÷ 5 minuti
Temperatura di utilizzo: 50 ÷ 70°C
Concentrazione 10 ÷30 g/l
Punteggio del bagno : 6,8 ÷ 20,6
pH di lavoro: 4,2 ÷ 5,5

Bathe preparation
For every 1000 liters of solution use 10 to 30 kg of FIPROPHOS 543.
Fill the tank with water and bring it to working temperature; then add the pre-set quantity of FIPROPHOS 543 with the pumps running.
Circulate the solution for at least 10 minutes before the first material to be treated enters.
The optimal conditions of use will be provided by the Fiprokim Technical Service during the start-up phase of the system.

Control of bathing
Take 25 ml of sample, add 4-5 drops of phenolphthalein indicator.
Titrate with a 0.1 N sodium hydroxide solution until colorless to stable pink for at least 20 ”.
The ml of 0.1 N NaOH (0.1 N sodium hydrate) consumed represent the bath score.
A bath prepared at 20 g / l has a score of 13.7 ml.

Warnings
All parts in contact with FIPROPHOS 543 can be built in AISI 304 steel, avoid yellow alloys in pumps and valves.
