FIPROPLUS 914 is a mineral acid-based product containing corrosion inhibitors, suitable for cleaning phosphating systems.
FIPROPLUS 914 can be used by spraying and recirculating.
Usage and Applications
FIPROPLUS 914 should be used in aqueous solution under the following conditions:
Bath temperature: 40 to 70 ° C
Treatment time: 2 to 6 hours
Bath formation: 5 - 10% P / V
The Fiprokim Technical Service will indicate the optimal conditions of use of the product, according to the type of system, the quality and quantity of foreign substances to be removed.
After a preliminary cleaning, fill the tank 2/3 of the volume with water. Activate the pumps and slowly add FIPROPLUS 914. Then fill the tank with water and heat the solution between 40 and 70 ° C.
The acidity of the product can attack non-ferrous metals, galvanized steel for construction. Even steels 1.4541 (AISI 321) and 1.4571 (AISI 316Ti) can be attacked if the product is used in concentrations higher than 10%.
To reduce the degree of attack, a suitable corrosion inhibitor can be added to the solution.
Before starting the cleaning procedures, check the compatibility of FIPROPLUS 914 with the materials to be conditioned.
