Technical features
FIPROSTEEL 779 is a pickling gel for stainless steel 300 series, used especially on flowered steel, as thanks to its specific formulation, it does not whiten the pieces to be treated.
It allows the pickling of both the welded sections only and the entire surface without leaving unsightly traces.
It does not create problems of use, even in sunny exposure, as long as you have the warning not to apply it on red-hot surfaces. If you need to cool the surfaces first by spraying water before applying the gel.

Usage
FIPROSTEEL 779 must be used as it is (applied by brush) on flowery steels and has marked thixotropic characteristics, which means that by letting the product rest, there is an increase in viscosity, but just mix the product to make it more fluid.
It is advisable to homogenize the product before using it, and spread a not too thin layer with a brush on the part to be pickled. Wait the necessary time which, depending on the type of steel, thickness and type of welding, can vary from a few minutes to several hours. If necessary, before washing, go over the weld with a stainless steel brush.
Wash with cold water, preferably with a pressure jet (pressure washer).
Not necessarily, but if you want to get a better result, after the first cold wash, follow with a hot wash.
