FIPROSTRIP 1106 is a liquid paint stripper, suitable for heat treatment in immersion and
recirculation of parts in iron, aluminum, zinc and painted alloys. But given the variety of materials they can
be treated, it is still advisable to carry out preliminary tests.
FIPROSTRIP 1106 is a product specially designed to disintegrate powder coatings.
The product must not be placed in contact with water, as it is not compatible with it and would alter its characteristics.
Usage and Applications
The product is used pure, by immersion or recirculation, and provides the best performance at temperatures
between 50 and 60 ° C. The contact time depends on the type and quantity of paint to be removed, usually varies between 20 'and 120'.
Once the details have been treated, rinse thoroughly with water.

Control of bathing
The bath must be checked periodically and, if necessary, topped up in the event of a decline in paint stripping performance.
Take 5 ml of the bath sample, add 100 ml of demineralized water.
Add 5-6 drops of phenolphthalein indicator.
Titrate with 0.1 N hydrochloric acid until the pink color disappears.
The amount of acid consumed for the color change gives the bath score, which must be between 12 and 16.

Paint residues can be conveniently eliminated by adequate decanting and subsequent filtration (for example with separators and / or press filters). The solution will thus have a significantly longer life span.
