METALFIP 304 is a chemical brightener for copper and its alloys. Suitable for the treatment of brass with a high copper content, it is an acid liquid compound to be used as it is and, therefore, able to avoid any possible dilution error. Its high solubility in water makes rinsing very easy after treating the pieces.
METALFIP 304, in the recommended contact times, does not attack metals as it contains suitable inhibitors.
Usage and Applications
In order to obtain the best polishing results and avoid deterioration of the bathroom, it is advisable to precede:
Decontamination to eliminate oils and fats
Cold rinse, or rather, with warm water
Drying
The latter operation is recommended to avoid the introduction of water into the METALFIP 304 bath which, however, can be supported for a maximum of 5-10% of the total volume.
METALFIP 304 can be used in PVC coated iron tanks.

Precautions
METALFIP 304 is a strongly acid product; it is therefore advisable to take all necessary precautions for its handling (glasses, gloves).
In case of contact with the skin, wash with plenty of water.
