METALFIP 325 is an acid mixture designed for descaling and deoxidation processes of metal surfaces. Ideal for degreasing and deoxidation cycles of aluminum surfaces, in preparation for subsequent pre-painting conversion treatments. It can be used for the treatment of stainless steel surfaces. Do not use the product on iron, cast iron and yellow alloys.
Usage and Applications
The main use of METALFIP 325 is in static immersion treatment plants.

Control of solutions
Take 10 ml of the bath to be analyzed and place them in the flask
Add 5-6 drops of phenolphthalein indicator.
Add 100ml of distilled water
Titrate with sodium hydroxide N / 10 until a persistent pink color of the solution is obtained.
The ml of Sodium Hydrate N / 10 consumed in the titration indicate the total acidity of the METALFIP 325 bath.

Alimentation
To obtain the concentration in gr / lt multiply the value obtained by the fixed number “2.9”.
Then bring the concentration to the required value, adding 2.9 Kg of product per 1000 Lt. of bath for each missing point.
For a solution at 10 g / l the score is approx. 3.5 ml of sodium hydroxide 0.1 N.
