METALFIP 328 is a product that allows to deoxidize and phosphate ferrous materials at the same time. Form
a coating consisting essentially of iron phosphates, particularly suitable for preparing the material for painting.
METALFIP 328 contains antioxidants, and for this reason it is recommended for pre-painting lines with low chain speed or for those plants where frequent stops in production are possible.
METALFIP 328 can also perform an effective degreasing action if used together with a suitable surfactant agent. It can also be used on non-ferrous surfaces, on which, however, it exerts only the deoxidizing action and, if suitably added, also degreasing.

Usage and Applications
METALFIP 328 must be used in aqueous solution, under the following operating conditions:
SPRAY 50 - 70 ° C
IMMERSION 50 - 70 ° C

Score 11.3 - 33.9 ml
30 - 100 g / l

Control of solutions
Take 10 ml of the bath with a calibrated pipette,
Pour them into a conical flask, dilute them with distilled water, add 3 - 5 drops of methyl orange indicator
Titrate with 0.1 N NaOH until the color changes from red to persistent yellow.
The ml of 0.1 N NaOH consumed for the color change give the bath score.
A bath prepared at 60 g / l has a score of approximately 33.9 ml.
Removal of thermal oxides (calamines) from raw materials or semi-finished products
Removal of processing oxides and oily residues or emulsions
Etching, pre-painting, pre-conversion treatments
Burnishing and satin finishing
Final cleaning of the finished product, with preservation of tolerances
The material that comes into contact with METALFIP 328 must be antacid - AISI 316 L.
For the transport, storage, handling and discharge of wastewater, follow the indications and laws in force.
Avoid improper handling of the packages that can cause product spillage.
Protect from frost, store away from heat sources and direct sunlight, keep containers tightly closed.
