METALFIP 336 is a liquid product, free from cyanides and chromates, designed for the uniform burnishing of brass, copper and carbon steel products. On these materials, it allows to obtain a wide range of colors depending on the times and concentrations of use.
The package of substances used allows to obtain a burnishing layer with high mechanical characteristics and a long life, even of the solutions.

Usage and Applications
The product must be used in solution, in minimum concentrations of 2%, up to pure, by immersion, from room temperature and up to a maximum of 35 ° C.
The contact time depends on the thickness of the items to be treated, on the temperature of use, on the desired finish and on the surface finish of the items and varies from a few seconds to a few minutes. The final color obtained depends on the concentration and the treatment time: a longer treatment time provides darker shades of color, shorter treatments provide lighter colors.
The best results are obtained if the surfaces are carefully cleaned and degreased, if necessary, before the burnishing treatment. This also guarantees a longer duration of the baths, as it prevents impurities and polluting elements from weakening the burnishing bath.
The bathroom must be checked and replenished periodically.
The colored layers are delicate if still damp: before handling the treated parts, proceed with drying.
The tubs containing the bathroom must be lined with suitable plastic material, for example PVC, polypropylene.
METALFIP 336 is acidic. We therefore recommend the precautions when using an acid product.
Avoid knocks and improper handling that can cause product leaks. Protect from freezing, store away from heat sources, keep containers tightly closed.
