ULTRAFIP 610 is a specific liquid degreaser for the removal of cleaning pastes from copper and brass items, ferrous materials and aluminum.
ULTRAFIP 610 finds application in galvanic, taps, eyewear and where it is necessary to remove cleaning pastes from metal parts.
Like all soap-based products, ULTRAFIP 610 leaves a hydrophobic film on the parts, which gives a slight passivation. This layer is easily removed with a normal alkaline degreaser.
Usage and Applications
ULTRAFIP 610 is used in immersion tanks, possibly with ultrasound.
Good degreasing results can already be obtained at temperatures close to 60 ° C, but a temperature between 75 and 90 ° C is recommended for the complete removal of polishing pastes. The tanks must be prepared at a concentration between 2 and 6% depending on the degree of pollution of the surface.
Control of bathing
Take 10 ml of bath and place them in a flask or beaker. Add 50 ml of demineralized water and 5-6 drops of phenolphthalein. The solution will turn violet. Titrate with a graduated pipette and 0.1N acid until the violet disappears. The ml of acid consumed represents the bath score.
A 3% bath has a score of 4.2 points.
The ULTRAFIP 610 product must be stored in its original packaging in ventilated and dry places, protect from frost, store away from heat sources.
Avoid knocks and improper handling of the packages which can cause the product to leak.

Based on organic acids, with additives with surfactants. Suitable for removing oils and tumbling and polishing pastes used in eyewear and cutlery. For stainless steel, aluminum, plastic, brass, copper, galvanized material (after testing). On brass and copper it exerts a deoxidizing and brightening action.
