ULTRAFIP 625 is a highly alkaline liquid degreaser, composed of a mixture of caustic alkalis, dispersants, dedusting agents, ionic and non-ionic surfactants with high performance and specific for polishing / cleaning pastes, suitable for use only by immersion with the aid of ultrasound.
It has excellent rinsing characteristics.
ULTRAFIP 625 is suitable for degreasing plastic glasses and is compatible with the materials normally used in this sector (propionate, polyamide, acetate, etc.). Suitable for ferrous material. Do not use on galvanic, aluminum, EG, HDG coatings, except in cases where alkaline etching is required.
Usage and Applications
For degreasing plastic glasses, it is recommended to use them at temperatures from 40 to 60 ° C, compatibly with the type of material to be treated, with concentrations ranging from 1 to 6% and a contact time that varies according to the quantity and type of paste to be removed (from 5 to 25 minutes).

Control of bathing
The bath is titrated by determining the free alkalinity with phenolphthalein indicator and 0.1 N hydrochloric or sulfuric acid titrating solution by operating as follows:
- take 10 ml of bath using a graduated pipette, add 4-5 drops of phenolphthalein indicator, 50 ml of demineralized water and titrate with 0.1 N acid until the solution changes from pink to colorless.
The number of ml of 0.1 N acid consumed in the titration multiplied by 4.5 gives the concentration in g / l of the bath.
