WATERFIP C 204 is an acid product to be used as a coagulant for paints in water film spray booths. The treatment with WATERFIP C 204 allows to produce a non-sticky, easily removable mud that stratifies on the surface or settles on the bottom according to the nature of the specific weight of the pigments contained in the paint. WATERFIP C 204 is active at pH values ranging from 8.5 to 9.5. These values depend on the concentration of the product and the type and quantity of paint present in the bathroom.
Usage and Applications
WATERFIP C 204 is used in industrial painting plants that use solvent-based or water-based paints. In large painting stations to extend the life of the water volume and facilitate cleaning and periodic maintenance.
WATERFIP C 204 must be added to the spray booth water to maintain an operating pH between 8.5 and 9.5.
Its liquid form and its excellent compatibility with water allow easy and convenient dosage with suitable dosing pumps. Of course it can be dosed manually for small plants. WATERFIP C 204 is generally used in concentrations ranging from 3 to 7 g / l calculated on the volume of water, but the dosage may undergo considerable variations depending on the overspray present in the painting system.
