FIPRO DEFOAM 160 is a 100% active substance defoamer suitable for use with any type of resin suitable for the production of paints, varnishes and glues.
FIPRO DEFOAM 160 is characterized by a high performance in preventing the formation of foam and in breaking down the existing foam so in addition to exerting an effective action against the foam during the mixing phase, it is an excellent deaerating agent for the finished product. .
In addition to these characteristics, the product is particularly dispersible in the systems where it is introduced, remaining practically stable in all medium and low viscosity systems, thus ensuring the absence of deposits and separations.
FIPRO DEFOAM 160 does not contain polydimethylsiloxane.

Usage and Applications
To obtain a good result it is advisable to dose the product in concentrations between 0.1 - 0.3%.
FIPRO DEFOAM 160 can be introduced in any processing phase without creating any inconvenience to the final preparation.
It is advisable to add half the dose of the product before dispersion, to obtain an antifoam action, and to add the second half at the end of the processing, in order to have a defoamer-deaerating effect.
A correct dosage of the product must in any case be evaluated after appropriate preliminary tests.

Storage
The storage temperature must preferably be between 5 and 35 ° C. The product cannot stand frost.
