FIPROSTRIP COVER LAYER is a product that is mainly used in the paint stripping sector where, due to the high temperatures involved, there is a need to limit the evaporation of the paint stripper in order to limit the consumption of paint stripper and emissions into the atmosphere
It is an oil-based product, immiscible with most water-based formulations, which forms a layer on the surface of the tank that limits the evaporation of the underlying product.
Being oil-based and forming a surface layer that "floats", this product remains on the surface of the parts that are extracted from the tank, which must then be rinsed before being reused.
Usage and Applications
FIPROSTRIP COVER LAYER is used pure.
The quantity to be used must be evaluated from time to time and depends on the temperature, the type of paint stripper and the shape of the tank.
The quantity of FIPROSTRIP COVER LAYER to be inserted in the tank is evaluated in centimeters of thickness. A couple of centimeters thick are generally sufficient to limit the evaporation of the paint stripper by many percentage points. As the layer is removed from the parts extracted from the tank, it must be properly reintegrated.
