ULTRAFIP 632

PRODUCTS FOR THE REMOVAL OF ORGANIC AND INORGANIC CONTAMINANTS FROM MULTIMETAL SURFACES

Technical features

ULTRAFIP 632 is a liquid, acid, surfactant formulation, to be used by immersion with ultrasound for degreasing and deoxidation and descaling of die-cast aluminum molds. Suitable for iron, zinc, copper, yellow alloys, aluminum alloys.
ULTRAFIP 632 is a product consisting mainly of organic acids, surfactants and oxidation inhibitors.

Usage and Applications

ULTRAFIP 632 is used in immersion tanks, possibly with ultrasound.
ULTRAFIP 632 is used in aqueous solution, by immersion, under the following operating conditions:


  • Treatment time 5-60 minutes

  • Bath temperature 10-90 ° C

  • Bath concentration 50-500 g / l


The Fiprokim Technical Service will provide, during the start-up phase of the plant, the optimal conditions of use, depending on the quality and quantity of foreign substances to be removed present on the surface of the material and the type of plant itself.

Control of bathing

Using a graduated pipette, take 5 ml of bath cooled at room temperature and place them in a 250 ml beaker. Add about 50 ml of demineralized water and 3-4 drops of Verdebromocresol indicator.
The solution will turn yellow. Titrate with 1 N sodium hydroxide slowly until it changes from yellow to bottle green and read the ml of 1N sodium hydroxide consumed, which represents the bath score.

For each missing point determined with 0.1N sodium hydroxide add 9 kg of product per 1000 kg of bath.
For each missing point determined with 1N sodium hydroxide add 0.9 kg of product per 1000 kg of bath.

  • Dephosphating

  • Removal of polishing pastes from parts and small parts

  • Removal of interoperational, protective, polymer films and silicones

  • Etching, pre-painting, pre-conversion treatments

  • Interoperational or final cleaning of the product
