ULTRAFIP 634 is a liquid product, suitable for all metals, specific for the removal of polishing pastes, neat and emulsifiable oils.
It is used with excellent results in electroplating for costume jewelery details and in the eyewear and cutlery industry. Suitable for washing small parts in zamak and aluminum parts.
Thanks to its particular formulation, free from boron, EDTA, chlorinated or petroleum solvents, it does not attack brass, copper, zamak, aluminum, even in cases of prolonged line downtime. The use of ultrasound enhances the cleaning power and above all increases the disintegrating action of the product against the pastes.
Usage and Applications
ULTRAFIP 634 is used in ultrasonic immersion tanks.
Good degreasing results can already be obtained at temperatures of 50-55 ° C; for situations of heavy dirt (eg polishing pastes containing adhesives, very difficult to remove) it may be necessary to operate at temperatures up to 65 ° C.
Pay attention to the operating temperature as the pieces could undergo self-drying.
ULTRAFIP 634 is used in aqueous solution, by immersion, under the following operating conditions:
Bath temperature: 50 - 65 ° C
Treatment time: 3 - 30 minutes
Bath formation 20 - 70 g / l
It is advisable to carry out a thorough rinsing after washing the items.

Control of bathing
Using a graduated pipette, take 10 ml of bath cooled at room temperature and place them in a 250 ml beaker.
Add about 50 ml of demineralized water and 3-4 drops of phenolphthalein indicator.
The solution will turn pink.
Titrate with 0.1 N hydrochloric or sulfuric acid slowly until pink to colorless and read the 0.1N ml of acid consumed, which represents the bath score.

For each missing point in ml, add 5.3 kg of product per 1000 kg of bath.
