FIPRO SG 598

Technical features

FIPRO SG 598 is an alkaline liquid degreaser for spray and electrolytic applications for cleaning steel and galvanized steel.

Usage and Applications

FIPRO SG 598 must be used in aqueous solution, by spray or electrolytically, under the following conditions:
Temperature: 60 ÷ 80 ° C
Contact time: 1 ÷ 3 '
Bath formation: 20 ÷ 50 g / l

Control of bathing

Take 10 ml of bath
Pour them into a flask / beaker
Add 3-5 drops of phenolphthalein indicator
Titrate with 0.1 N sulfuric acid until it changes from purple to colorless.
The ml of acid consumed for the color change represent the bath score that for a preparation at
concentration of 10 g / l is about 5.0.

For each point consumed, add 2 kg of FIPRO SG 598 for every 1000 l of bath.
