Technical features

FIPROSTEEL 762 is a pickling agent for stainless steel, suitably formulated, sulfuric based and free from nitric acid, therefore both the bath and the consequent rinses are easily purified in traditional chemical-physical plants.
FIPROSTEEL 762 has been specially designed as a formulation for the formation and reinforcement of a
pickling bath. It performs the best pickling performances thanks to the combined action of our FIPROPLUS 711, product based on hydrogen peroxide.

Usage

Dilute FIPROSTEEL 762 with water in a 1: 1 ratio and add the product to the tank. To obtain an excellent deoxidation result, it is advisable to operate in multi-stage treatment plants to ensure excellent cleaning of the artifacts. Immerse the product to be pickled in the FIPROSTEEL 762 solution, the time for a good pickling varies from 20 minutes to over 2 hours depending on the type of welding and the temperature.
After the pickling operation, the parts must be perfectly rinsed with cold water. In order to guarantee an excellent final result, it will be necessary to degrease the product in advance if it is dirty with oil, grease or other impurities, for this type of application we recommend our. FIPROSTEEL 751 or FIPROSTEEL 770.

Control and Power

The controls of the bath are periodically carried out by determining the free acidity, total acidity, iron, hydrogen peroxide and, based on the values found, our technical service will provide you with precise indications for a possible topping up.

Warnings

Everything that comes into contact with the solution, especially the tanks, must be made of polypropylene, moplen, iron, steel coated with PVC or antacid material.
