The process
Pickling is the process of removing oxides from the surface of metals through a solubilization in a chemical medium.
It is a fundamental process in the modern manufacturing industry, an indispensable process that involves all industrial sectors where there is some metal processing.
Through this treatment it is possible to remove surface defects and impurities such as oxides (thermal, due to corrosion, or welding) and processing residues, restoring the quality of the material which invariably undergoes alterations during the processing phase.
