FIPROCIDE 60 is a broad spectrum biocide specifically formulated for sanitizing and maintaining a wide range of water-based products. It is free from organic solvents and can be used up to 0.2% without the need for any labeling of the finished product in accordance with the European regulation of 15 ppm of the CIT / MIT mixture.

Usage and Applications
FIPROCIDE 60 is indicated for the protection of a wide range of water-based products such as paints, polymeric emulsions, adhesives, ceramic glazes, fillers, sealants, cleaning products. It can be used as an additive for diluted coolant fluids.
The quantities commonly used depend on the system and the type of treatment the customer wishes to obtain and are between 0.05 - 0.40%. The optimal amount of use can be determined in collaboration with our microbiological laboratory.
FIPROCIDE 60 can be added at any stage of the production process. If the product is added at the start of processing, the microbial effect is obtained already in the production phase.
However, it is necessary to check that temperature, pH and redox have adequate values to guarantee the stability of the product.
FIPROCIDE 60 is compatible with most formulations. It is particularly suitable for products in which biocides stabilized with divalent ions such as Mg2 + and Cu2 + may be incompatible.
Reducing agents, amines and other strong nucleophils can cause degradation of the active ingredients. It is advisable to carry out preliminary compatibility tests precisely because of the multiple possibilities of using the product.
