FIPROPLUS 948 is a liquid additive formulated to increase the cleaning effect of degreasing formulations for immersion use. Its action favors the removal of organic contaminants, such as oils and fats, from the surface of the material to be treated.
FIPROPLUS 948 consists of a mixture of alkaline substances, anionic and non-ionic surfactants.
Usage and Applications
FIPROPLUS 948 must be added directly in the solutions of degreasing products, even if in some cases it can be used alone. Normally, the conditions of use are as follows:
Immersion with ultrasound
Concentration 2 ÷ 10 g/l 2 ÷ 5 g/l
Temperature 50 ÷ 90 °C 50 ÷ 70 °C
Timw 5’ ÷ 15’ 2’ ÷ 5’

Control of bathing
The control of the degreasing bath is usually carried out on the basis of what is reported in the technical data sheet of the degreasing product used. For the FIPROPLUS 948 there is no specific analytical control method.

Alimentation
The bath is fed with FIPROPLUS 948 in a quantity equal to 5 ÷ 10% of the degreasing product used, depending on the desired results.
Storage
If possible, store in covered warehouses avoiding exposing the product to heat sources above 40 ° C or temperatures below 5° C.
