FIPRO DEFOAM 155 is a silicone-free defoamer in aqueous emulsion and, given the composition of the raw materials, it can be suitable for the abatement of foam in all those industrial processes where water in combination with foaming substances generates a volume of foam such as to prevent regular production.
FIPRO DEFOAM 155 performs an action both at the surface level by eliminating the presence of foaming bubbles and within the mass by deaerating and deflating the system. In addition to the good speed in breaking down the formed foam, the product has a high durability over time, characteristics obtained thanks to state-of-the-art emulsification techniques.

Usage and Applications
The product has been successfully used in the production of printing inks and pastes; in the production of chemical auxiliaries; in water purification, even in biological plants where silicone is not usable; in spray booths and in many other situations where it is necessary to use an antifoam composed of non-silicone raw materials.
The dosage varies according to the situations of use. In water purification, 1 part of antifoam per 10,000 parts of liquid to be treated may be sufficient. If it is used as a formulation additive it is dosed in the variable percentage from 0.05% to 0.5% on the weight of the formula. However, the best dosage is obtained following preliminary tests.

Storage
The storage temperature must preferably be between 5 and 35 ° C. The product cannot stand frost. The product is stable for 6 months from the date of packaging.
