FIPRO DEFOAM 160 is a 100% active substance defoamer suitable for use with any type of resin suitable for the production of paints, varnishes and glues.
FIPRO DEFOAM 160 is characterised by its high performance in preventing foam formation and breaking down existing foam so that, in addition to exerting an effective action against foam during the mixing phase, it is an excellent de-foaming agent when the product is finished.
In addition to these characteristics, the product is particularly dispersible in the systems in which it is introduced, remaining practically stable in all medium and low viscosity systems, thus guaranteeing the absence of deposits and separations.
FIPRO DEFOAM 160 does not contain polydimethylsiloxane.

Usage and Applications
To obtain a good result it is advisable to dose the product in concentrations between 0.1 - 0.3%.
FIPRO DEFOAM 160 can be introduced at any stage of processing without any inconvenience to the final preparation.
It is advisable to add half a dose of the product before dispersion, in order to obtain an antifoaming action, and to add the second half at the end of processing, in order to obtain a defoaming-dispersing effect.
A correct dosage of the product must in any case be assessed after suitable preliminary tests.

Storage
The storage temperature should preferably be between 5 and 35 °C. The product fears frost.
The product is stable for 6 months from the packaging date.
