Technical specifications
FIPROSTEEL 762 is a suitably formulated sulphuric acid and nitric acid-free pickling agent for stainless steel, so both the bath and the subsequent rinses are easily purified in traditional chemical-physical plants.
FIPROSTEEL 762 has been specially designed as a formulation for forming and reinforcing a
pickling bath. It expresses the best pickling performance thanks to the combined action of our FIPROPLUS 711, a product based on hydrogen peroxide.

Dilute FIPROSTEEL 762 with water in a 1:1 ratio and add the product in the tank. For an excellent de-rusting result, it is advisable to work in multi-stage treatment systems to ensure optimum cleaning of the articles. Immerse the part to be pickled in the FIPROSTEEL 762 solution, the time for a good pickling varies from 20 minutes to more than 2 hours depending on the type of weld and the temperature.
Soak the part to be pickled in the FIPROSTEEL 762 solution. Once the pickling operation is complete, the parts must be thoroughly rinsed with cold water. In order to guarantee an excellent final result, it will be necessary to degrease the part beforehand if it is soiled with oil, grease or other impurities, for this type of application we recommend our FIPROSTEEL 751 or FIPROSTEEL 770.
