FIPROSTRIP 260 is a general-purpose solvent-based paint stripper suitable for light alloy, steel, and copper substrates.
It works in the complete absence of phenols or cresols and is particularly effective even on epoxy-polyester, polyurethane, and catalyzed epoxy powder coatings.

Use and Applications
FIPROSTRIP 260 is used by immersion as is. Thorough subsequent rinsing is required to ensure the complete removal of product and paint residues. However, if possible, stainless steel tanks (AISI 304 or AISI 316) are recommended.
The product is supplied ready to use; to avoid product loss, it is advisable to use a tank with a lid.
Each time the tank is cleaned or when the level drops, the tank should be topped up with the product as is.
The treatment time depends on the type, thickness, and curing of the paint; under the worst conditions, immersion for more than 24 hours may be required.

Bath control
The paint stripping tank should feature a removable metal mesh to allow the detached paint to be removed at least weekly. Periodically, desludging of the tank must also be carried out.
Storage
It is recommended to store indoors and at temperatures above 7°C, away from heat sources.
Recommended use: 12 months from delivery date.
