FIPROSTRIP COVER LAYER is a product mainly used in the paint stripping sector where, due to the high temperatures involved, there is a need to limit the evaporation of the paint stripper in order to reduce paint stripper consumption and atmospheric emissions
It is an oil-based product, immiscible with most water-based formulations, which forms a layer on the surface of the tank that limits the evaporation of the underlying product.
Being oil-based and forming a "floating" surface layer, this product remains on the surface of the parts removed from the tank, which must therefore be rinsed before their reuse.
Use and Applications
FIPROSTRIP COVER LAYER is used pure.
The quantity to be used must be evaluated on a case-by-case basis and depends on the temperature, the type of paint stripper, and the shape of the tank.
The quantity of FIPROSTRIP COVER LAYER to be added to the tank is measured in centimeters of thickness. A couple of centimeters of thickness are generally sufficient to limit the evaporation of the paint stripper by many percentage points. As the layer is removed by the parts extracted from the tank, it must be adequately replenished.
