METALFIP 306 is a liquid pickling agent for titanium.
Particularly suitable for the eyewear sector, where optimal conditions must be guaranteed for the entire frame.
Usage and Applications
METALFIP 306 must be used as it is and, if the contact times are too short, therefore difficult to manage, it can be used by "cutting" it with small additions of water in a maximum ratio of 1: 1.
Immerse the pieces in the solution thus prepared at room temperature; the pickling time can vary from a few seconds to a few minutes depending on the type of product and the temperature.
During the cold season, if necessary, the solution can be heated, with rubber coils and steam passage, or Teflon-coated resistors, heat up to a maximum of 30 ° C.
At the end of the pickling operation, rinse with plenty of water and if the conditions allow it also use a pressure jet.

Precautions
Use iron tanks lined with PVC, or if small in polyethylene, polypropylene.
METALFIP 306 is acidic. We therefore recommend the normal precautions when using an acid product.
Avoid contact and inhalation of the product. Wear rubber gloves and respiratory protection. Keep the container tightly closed, in a ventilated, cool and dry place.
