METALFIP 301 is a liquid product suitable for priming the shiny and greasy surfaces of hot-dip galvanized parts, before the painting phase.
Since the product is acidic, upon contact with the material to be treated it produces a light pickling action creating a chemical satin finish (etching) that considerably increases paint adhesion on the surface.
The product is thixotropic, meaning that once applied it exhibits significant viscosity, and therefore remains well adhered even to vertical and large surfaces.

Use and Applications
METALFIP 301 is used as is, using a brush for its application, but it can also be applied by spraying with a pump (which should be rinsed after use).
Depending on the degree of etching desired, it can be left to act for 10 to 30 minutes.
Rinse thoroughly with tap water at room temperature or hot, and wait until the surface is perfectly dry before starting painting operations.
