Technical specifications
FIPRO AK 41 is a liquid with high dispersing power based on organic phosphonates and polycarboxylic dispersants, specifically designed for cooling circuits fed by particularly hard water rich in suspended solids.
FIPRO AK 41 prevents the formation of scale deposits by distorting the crystal lattice (threshold effect). Beyond the stabilization limits, a non-scaling amorphous precipitate is formed, which is easily dispersible through normal blowdown operations. The optimal operating pH is between 7 and 10.
Use and Applications
Dosage
The dosage of the product depends on the water characteristics and the operating conditions of the system. Under normal conditions, the recommended dosage is between 30 ÷ 200 g/m3.
Application
FIPRO AK 41 can be used either neat or diluted, using an automatic system with a dosing pump proportional to the flow rate of the discharge water from the system. All materials in contact with the product must be acid-resistant.
