FIPRO AK 50 is a multifunctional product based on organic deoxygenated, scale inhibiting and dispersing agents, able to inhibit corrosion phenomena in boiler water and steam/condensate lines.
FIPRO AK 50 reacts with the oxygen present and promotes a protective magnetite film on metal walls. The product acts as a CO2 neutraliser by raising the pH of steam and condensate to keep it within the optimal limits for corrosion protection. The product has excellent anti-corrosion capacity against hardness salts that may inadvertently enter the boiler.
Usage and Applications
The FIPRO AK 50 is used in low and medium pressure generator water conditioning systems, as well as in hot and superheated water circuits.

Power supply
The dosage of FIPRO AK 50 is based on the dissolved oxygen content of the feed water and the pH of the condensate, which should be controlled in the range from 8.8 to 9 with a minimum of 8.2.
FIPRO AK 50 can be dosed as such or diluted with demineralised water in any ratio, and injected into the boiler feed water line.
Storage
FIPRO AK 50 is supplied in different packaging and should be stored in closed containers away from direct sunlight. When stored under the recommended conditions, the product has a stability of one year.
