Technical characteristics
100% active defoamer based on alcohols and ethoxylated derivatives. It is used for the reduction and prevention of foam in various types of aqueous systems and, in particular, in purified wastewater discharges, biological processes, the paper, textile, electroplating, and electronics industries, and in evaporation processes.
Due to its high efficacy, it allows achieving excellent results with low use concentrations.
Use and Applications
FIPRO DEFOAM 181 is dosed as is, and/or dispersed in water, using a standard dosing pump.
The optimal dosage of the product must be determined through preliminary plant trials and must take into account the characteristics of the water to be treated; as a guideline, it can range between 2 and 40 ppm.
FIPRO DEFOAM 181 does not show separation even after long storage periods.

Storage
The product is supplied in 25 Kg drums.
During handling, the use of appropriate personal protective equipment is recommended.
