Technical characteristics
FIPRO SG 1012 is an alkaline inter-operational degreaser used for the washing and temporary corrosion protection of processed materials. Designed for the removal of chips and machining oils from surfaces of ferrous materials, aluminum, galvanized steel, copper, and yellow alloys in spray treatment systems.
FIPRO SG 1012 is a formulation based on soaps, non-ionic and cationic surfactants, and amines, chloride-free.
Use and Applications
The product can be used as a protective inter-operational degreaser in single-stage and multi-stage spray systems. The main use of FIPRO SG 1012 is in spray treatment systems or where there is the possibility of combining mechanical action with a controlled-foam washing solution.
FIPRO SG 1012 allows combining a low-foaming effect with demulsifying and sanitizing properties.

Bath control
Concentration control is carried out by titration of the total alkalinity present in the solution, using the following method:
Take 10 ml of washing solution and transfer into a flask
Add about 6-8 drops of bromocresol green indicator
Titrate with 0.1 N Hydrochloric acid until the color changes from blue to yellow
The ml of 0.1 N Hydrochloric acid used represent the total alkalinity value.

Storage
For the handling and storage of the product, it is recommended to comply with the instructions in the relevant safety data sheet. If possible, use covered warehouses, avoiding exposing the product to heat sources or temperatures below 5 °C.
