FIPRO DET 652 was developed as an alkaline degreasing product which at the same time acts as a paint stripper. Thanks to its formulation, it can be used in single- or multi-stage spray systems to remove contaminants resulting from machining from steel, cast iron, and aluminum parts without altering their surface. FIPRO DET 652 can also be used by immersion for cleaning and removing water-based paints from rotary spray guns in tanneries and/or similar facilities where this process is used.
FIPRO DET 652 is a product based on organic compounds, aromatic alcohols, antioxidants, and inhibitors, and is used in the mechanical and metalworking industries where a degreasing treatment with simultaneous antioxidant protection of the treated parts is required.
Use and Applications
FIPRO DET 652 is used in degreasing operations for steel and aluminum at concentrations ranging from 1% to 5% with contact times of 1 to 5 minutes and temperatures from 40° to 70° C.
For washing steel, cast iron, and sintered parts, concentrations from 4% to 6% are recommended, without subsequent rinsing and with complete drying of the parts.
In multi-stage systems, the product can be used in the final stage at a concentration of 0.5% to 1% to ensure temporary rust protection.
For cleaning parts soiled with paint residues, such as spray guns, airbrushes, panels, test benches, etc., we recommend using it at a dilution between 1:1 and the neat product, with contact times that can reach up to several hours.
