FIPROPLUS 726 is a liquid product designed to be used as a protective passivating agent in testing baths.
FIPROPLUS 726 is rich in passivating substances and chelating agents, and is characterized by forming clear solutions even in the presence of particularly hard water; furthermore, FIPROPLUS 726 does not emulsify any dirt that may be present on the parts, thereby facilitating its separation on the surface of the bath.
FIPROPLUS 726 can also be used as an inter-operational passivating agent or as a final passivating agent in the last rinse tank of pre-painting phosphating cycles.
Use and Applications
For testing baths, use FIPROPLUS 726 from 1% to 5%.
To provide antioxidant properties to the treated parts, FIPROPLUS 726 must not be rinsed.
To obtain antioxidant properties in multi-stage washing processes, add FIPROPLUS 726 to the final rinse at concentrations ranging from 0.5% to 1% and dry the parts completely.

Bath control
Take 20 ml of bath and place in an Erlenmeyer flask or a beaker
Add 5-6 drops of Bromocresol Green indicator, the solution turns blue
Titrate with 0.1 N HYDROCHLORIC ACID until the solution changes color from blue to yellow
