Technical specifications

FIPROPLUS 720 is a weakly alkaline liquid detergent designed for degreasing ferrous material, aluminium, cast iron, steel in industry in general, with simultaneous rust protection.

Usage and Applications

It is a nitrite- and mineral oil-free formulation. Suitable for immersion for leak testing.

Suitable for removing machining oils, workshop dirt from all types of metal surfaces.

Thanks to its formulation, it does not leave salt deposits on treated parts, does not cause scaling and sludge.

It can be used without rinsing in single-stage washing machines and as a passivating rinse in multi-stage systems. The degreasing phase can be assisted by surfactant additives, with the aim of increasing detergency and disemulsifying the oil in the tank, allowing the process to be run more smoothly. The additives are identified as Fiproplus 924, 928, Fiproplus 701, FIPROPLUS 912 or 916.

FIPROPLUS 720 is easily soluble and does not cause foaming.

Bathroom control

Take 10 ml of bath, add a few drops of bromocresol green and titrate with 0.1 N acid (hydrochloric or sulphuric) until blue to yellow.

The ml of acid consumed represents the bath score.

A 5% bath has a bath score of approx. 6.5 ml

Note: Consider whether the removed emulsifiable oil may affect the alkalinity of the bath, increasing it. Should this occur, one must deduct the consumption given by the alkalinity of the emulsifiable from the value found.

Power supply

Maintain the concentration value established at plant start-up by Fiprokim technical service.

For each missing point, add 7.7 kg of product for every 1000 litres of bath.

Storage

Avoid shocks, improper handling of packages that may cause product spillage. Protect from frost, store away from heat sources, keep containers tightly closed.
