FIPROPLUS 711 is a liquid formulation for 300 series stainless steel for use as an oxidising additive in pickling baths where FIPROSTEEL 762 is used.
Usage and Applications
FIPROPLUS 711 is used continuously through a dosing pump or in frequent shots as an additive/activator of the pickling bath where FIPROSTEEL 762 (nitric acid-free pickling agent) is used with the basic purpose of keeping the bath in perfect active balance and restoring the correct oxidant supply.
For correct addition of the product and equally effective liquor management, it is recommended to check the analytical parameters and the state of pickling by means of an objective "view" of the details.
If, after analysis of the bath, a high bivalent iron (Iron 2+) content is found, add 2.5 g/l of FIPROPLUS 711 for every g/l of bivalent iron to be lowered and oxidised to trivalent iron.
