FIPROPLUS 711 is a liquid formulation for 300 series stainless steel to be used as an oxidizing additive in pickling baths where FIPROSTEEL 762 is used.
Use and Applications
FIPROPLUS 711 is used continuously via dosing pump or frequent shots as an additive/activator for the pickling bath where FIPROSTEEL 762 (nitric acid-free pickling agent) is used, with the primary purpose of maintaining the bath itself in perfect active balance and restoring the correct oxidizing input.
For proper addition of the product and an equally effective operation of the bath, it is recommended to check the analytical parameters and the pickling condition through an objective "inspection" of the parts.
In the event that, after bath analysis, a high content of divalent iron (Iron 2+) is found, add 2,5 g/l of FIPROPLUS 711 for each g/l of divalent iron to be lowered and oxidized to trivalent iron.
