FIPROSTRIP 299 is used for removing powder coatings from workpiece carrier frames, hooks, and parts with painting defects. For use on ferrous materials and steel. Do not apply to aluminum, alloys, and galvanized surfaces.
Use and Applications
Use the product as is, by immersion, at a temperature of 55-70°C. The time depends on the temperature and the amount of paint to be removed.

Bath control
The bath must be checked periodically and topped up if necessary in the event of a drop in paint stripping performance. Testing is carried out by titration, specifically by determining the alkalinity.
Take 1 milliliter of the bath with a graduated pipette and place it in an Erlenmeyer flask – volumetric flask - beaker;
Add approximately 100 ml of demineralized water;
add 5-6 drops of phenolphthalein indicator;
homogenize the solution;
titrate with 0.1 N hydrochloric acid, while stirring, until the color of the solution changes from pink to colorless;
the consumption of hydrochloric acid required for the color change represents the bath points.

Power supply
The minimum bath points must be equal to 17 ml of 0.1 N hydrochloric acid.
If the points are lower, add FIPROSTRIP 299 ADD in an amount equal to 20 kg of product for each missing point (ml) of acid compared to 17 and per 1000 liters of bath.
The value of a newly prepared bath is between 18 and 19 points.
Storage
Avoid contact with acids. System materials can be made of common iron; avoid contact with galvanized materials and aluminum.
