FIPRO DK 409 is used as a release agent in metal fabrication and plastic molding industries.
When sprayed on the substrate to be welded, it prevents the adhesion of spatter and slag in all cases of autogenous welding. In the plastics sector, on the other hand, when applied to the surface of the molds, it prevents the adhesion of the molded part to the mold.
FIPRO DK 409 has the advantage that, while being an excellent release agent like silicone products, it does not present their drawbacks, allowing painting, printing, chrome plating, etc. of the treated parts. During use, the product does not produce unpleasant fumes and retains its characteristics up to 250 °C.
