FIPRO SG 1015 is a water-soluble liquid product developed to clean and disinfect the sumps and distribution circuits of machine tools contaminated by fluids used in machining operations.
The formulation, consisting of a mixture of disinfecting agents and surfactants, is miscible with soluble oil emulsions: it can therefore be added directly to the spent bath before the oil change, facilitating the removal of residues and organic deposits present inside the system.
The treatment can be carried out while continuing to use the machine tool, without requiring the immediate interruption of machining.
Technical characteristics of FIPRO SG 1015
FIPRO SG 1015 is an auxiliary product for the treatment of emulsions used in machine tools. It is suitable for cleaning tanks, vats, piping, and distribution circuits affected by the presence of dirt and contamination resulting from metalworking fluids.
The product is added directly to the emulsion to be replaced and allowed to circulate in the system before changing the bath. The combined action of surfactants and disinfectants promotes the detachment and suspension of organic deposits, facilitating their subsequent removal during draining.
FIPRO SG 1015 allows you to:
clean vats, tanks, and machine tool circuits;
treat contamination present in the spent emulsion;
suspend organic deposits present in the system;
prepare the circuit for the introduction of a new emulsion;
carry out the treatment while continuing machining operations;
reduce the risk of residues from the previous bath contaminating the new emulsion.
The formulation does not contain nitrosamines.

Use and applications
FIPRO SG 1015 is used before changing the oil or emulsion to perform internal cleaning of machine tool circuits.
The product is miscible with soluble oil emulsions and is dosed directly into the bath in use. After addition, the machine can continue to operate for a period of between 8 and 24 hours, to be defined based on the level of contamination and the amount of dirt present.
During treatment, the circulation of the emulsion allows the product to reach the tank, piping, and areas of the system that are difficult to access with manual cleaning alone.
At the end of the set time, the emulsion is drained and replaced with a new bath. If the configuration of the system does not allow for the complete removal of the mixture containing FIPRO SG 1015, it is advisable to rinse with water before introducing the new emulsion.
The product is suitable for:
machine tools;
single tanks;
vats containing coolant emulsions;
fluid distribution circuits;
machining systems;
scheduled emulsion change operations.

Bath control
Before use, it is necessary to evaluate the volume of the emulsion present in the sump and the contamination level of the circuit.
During treatment, insoluble organic deposits removed from internal surfaces can be suspended in the emulsion. It is therefore important to periodically check the condition of the filters to prevent the accumulation of detached material from causing blockages or reducing the proper circulation of the fluid.
The Fiprokim laboratory can assist the customer in evaluating the conditions of the bath and the circuit, taking into account:
quantity and condition of the emulsion;
level of dirt present;
bad odors or contamination;
presence of organic deposits;
characteristics of the machine and the system;
time available before the oil change;
quantity of product to be used.
Technical support allows the treatment to be defined in relation to actual operating conditions, avoiding improper dosages and correctly preparing the circuit for the new fill.
Power supply
Add FIPRO SG 1015 directly into the sump, calculating the necessary quantity to obtain a concentration of 2% in the emulsion.
In the presence of particularly dirty systems, the concentration can be increased up to 3%.
Indicative dosages
System condition Routine cleaning before emulsion change Concentration 2%
System condition Particularly dirty systems Concentration Up to 3%
Pour the product into the emulsion 8 to 24 hours before the oil change, choosing the treatment time based on the degree of contamination and dirt present.
During this interval, it is possible to continue machining operations.
At the end of the treatment:
completely drain the emulsion;
check and clean the filters;
remove the suspended residues;
fill the sump with new emulsion;
pre-wash with water when a significant part of the mixture remains inside the system.
The operating procedures must be defined considering the characteristics of the machine, the system, and the metalworking fluid used.
