FIPROCIDE 52 is a specially formulated product for the control of algae, bacteria and fungi growth in cooling towers and circulating waters.
As a first treatment, the systems in question must be decontaminated of all forms of fouling and algae by slowly dosing 40 - 50 ppm of the product.
Thereafter additions can be made every 2 - 5 days at a rate of 5 - 10 ppm.
Addition of the product can be made at the base of the cooling tower or on the circulation pump outlet.
FIPROCIDE 52 also exerts its antibacterial action in water curtain spray booths, where it is injected directly into the booth tank. Dosages depend on various factors (turbulence, amount of overspray, operating volumes, temperatures, etc.).
Pre-treatment is around 1000 ppm (1 kg/m3). Thereafter, a maintenance treatment of 500 ppm (0.5 kg/m3) is carried out every 3-5 days.
FIPROCIDE 52 operates at pH between 6 and 8 and is not corrosive to metals.
