FIPROCIDE 60 is a broad spectrum biocide specifically formulated for the sanitisation and maintenance of a wide range of water-based products. It is free of organic solvents and can be used up to 0.2% without any labelling of the finished product in accordance with the European 15 ppm CIT/MIT mixture regulation.

Usage and Applications
FIPROCIDE 60 is suitable for the protection of a wide range of water-based products such as paints, polymer emulsions, adhesives, ceramic glazes, fillers, sealants, and cleaning products. It can be used as an additive for diluted cooling lubricants.
The amounts commonly used depend on the system and the type of treatment the customer wishes to achieve and are between 0.05 - 0.40%. The optimal use quantity can be determined in cooperation with our microbiological laboratory.
FIPROCIDE 60 can be added at any stage of the production process. If the product is added at the start of processing, the microbiocidal effect is already obtained at the production stage.
However, it must be ensured that temperature, pH and redox values are adequate to guarantee product stability.
FIPROCIDE 60 is compatible with most formulations. It is particularly suitable for products in which biocides stabilised with bivalent ions such as Mg2+ and Cu2+ may be incompatible.
Reducing agents, amines and other strong nucleophilic agents can cause degradation of active ingredients. It is advisable to carry out preliminary compatibility tests precisely because of the many possible uses of the product.
