FIPROCIDE 60 is a broad-spectrum biocide specifically formulated for the sanitization and maintenance of a wide range of water-based products. It is free from organic solvents and can be used at up to 0.2% without requiring any labeling of the finished product, in accordance with the European regulation of 15 ppm for the CIT/MIT mixture.

Use and Applications
FIPROCIDE 60 is recommended for the protection of a wide range of water-based products such as paints, polymer emulsions, adhesives, ceramic glazes, fillers, sealants, and cleaning products. It can be used as an additive for diluted metalworking fluids.
The commonly used quantities depend on the system and the type of treatment the customer wishes to achieve, and range between 0.05 - 0.40%. The optimal dosage can be determined in collaboration with our microbiological laboratory.
FIPROCIDE 60 can be added at any stage of the production process. If the product is added at the beginning of processing, the microbicidal effect is already achieved during the production phase.
However, it is necessary to verify that temperature, pH, and redox have appropriate values to guarantee the stability of the product.
FIPROCIDE 60 is compatible with most formulations. It is particularly suitable for products in which biocides stabilized with divalent ions such as Mg2+ and Cu2+ may be incompatible.
Reducing agents, amines, and other strong nucleophiles can cause degradation of the active ingredients. It is advisable to carry out preliminary compatibility tests precisely because of the many possible uses of the product.
