FIPROFLUX 365 has been formulated to protect materials such as monel and nickel silver from thermal oxidation. It is used in brazing up to a temperature of 800 °C.
FIPROFLUX 365 also allows brazing without the use of deoxidizing powders or pastes, as it deoxidizes and promotes the flow of the filler alloy.
An area of application is, for example, brazing in eyewear manufacturing and the brazing of silver costume jewelry.
FIPROFLUX 365 is a solvent-based, low-hazard, non-toxic formulation with high protective power.
Use and Applications
Treat both parts to be joined, which must be perfectly degreased and dry.
Wet by immersion.
Imperfect degreasing is evident on shiny parts because the borate film is patchy; to eliminate the problem, simply immerse the parts again and keep them soaked for a few minutes.
After immersion, allow to dry for a few minutes; a heat source can be used to reduce drying times.
Note: the white borate film that has formed is resistant to dry contact and degrades immediately upon wet contact.
Warning: proceed with welding without interruption and apply the brazing alloy only when the metal has reached the temperature.
By using these precautions, the joining of the two parts is perfect and there is no need to use other flux powders or pastes.

Avoid contact with skin and inhalation of the product. Wear protective clothing and use respiratory protection. Keep away from heat, flames and sparks.
Store in a tightly closed container in a well-ventilated, cool and dry place.
