Technical specifications
FLUX 391 is a clear liquid suitable for protecting 300 series stainless steel parts from the thermal oxidation that occurs during welding. FLUX 391 is not suitable for 303 and 316F.
.Usage and Applications
The parts must be perfectly degreased and dry. Immerse the workpieces to be welded in water and allow them to dry. A borate film will form that is very resistant to the touch, after which the workpieces are ready for welding either with an induction welder or with the micro-flame torch.
FLUX 391 is purely protective, therefore it is necessary to use a flux paste for stainless steel for fluxing (flowing) the solder.

Storage
FLUX 391 is flammable. Therefore take all necessary precautions when using flammable products.
The treatment of the parts to be soldered in FLUX 391 must be carried out in a place other than the working environment (soldering department). The environment must be well ventilated and dry.
