Neutralising and antioxidant. The use of this formulation is indicated to close phosphating or acid pickling cycles. It is also indicated and recommended as an antioxidant additive in water-pneumatic test baths on items such as: radiators and radiant plates - sealing tanks petrol tanks, etc.

Usage and Applications
FIPROPLUS 704 can be used both with spray technique and in immersion tanks, using equipment made of normal steel.
The product is diluted in mains water to the most suitable concentration required for its use.
Neutralising passivating 30-80 g/lt
Antioxidant for hydraulic testing 5-20 g/lt
Antioxidant for final wash 2-5 g/lt

Controlling the Bathroom
The measurement of the pH value can be sufficient, which will be carried out with a special apparatus or with an indicator map; the values to be maintained depend on the working mode and should vary between 10.5 and 12. A more exact control of the bath can be carried out by chemical titration according to the following method:
.by means of a calibrated pipette, exactly 10 ml of bath is taken, diluted with 20-30 ml of demineralised water and added with 4-5 drops of green bromocresol indicator solution. The liquid, which will take on a blue colour, will be titrated with 0.1 N Hydrochloric Acid solution until it turns from blue to yellow.
The number of ml of acid used for toning will correspond to the bath score whose concentration can be traced by consulting the following:

To obtain the passivant concentration, multiply the number of ml of acid by the factor "2.08".
To reconcentrate the bath, approx. 2.08 g/lt must be added for each point found less than the set value. Alkalinity values can be varied by the salinity of the water.
