FIPROPLUS 708 is a mildly alkaline liquid detergent designed for degreasing ferrous materials, aluminum, cast iron, and steel in general industry, with simultaneous rust protection. It is a formulation free of nitrites and mineral oils. Suitable for immersion leak testing.
Suitable for removing machining oils and workshop grime from any type of metal surface.
Thanks to its formulation, it does not leave salt deposits on the treated parts and does not cause scaling or sludge.
Can be used without rinsing in single-stage washing machines, while it can be used as a passivating rinse in multi-stage systems. The degreasing phase can be assisted by suitable surfactant additives.

Use and Applications
FIPROPLUS 708 is easily soluble and does not cause foam formation, making it also suitable as a high-pressure additive. Its solutions are stable over wide concentration ranges and even under extreme operating conditions (high temperatures and high water hardness above 30°F).

Bath control
Take 10 ml of the bath
Add a few drops of bromocresol green and titrate with 0.1 N acid (hydrochloric or sulfuric) until the color changes from blue to yellow
The ml of acid consumed represent the bath points.
A 5% bath has a points value of approx. 13 ml.
Note: evaluate whether the removed emulsifiable oil may affect the alkalinity of the bath, increasing it. If this phenomenon occurs, the consumption due to the alkalinity of the emulsifiable oil must be deducted from the value found.
Power supply
Maintain the concentration value established at plant start-up by the Fiprokim technical service.
For each missing point, add 3,8 Kg of product for every 1000 liters of bath.
Storage
Avoid impacts and improper handling of packaging that can cause product spillage. Protect from freezing, store away from heat sources, keep containers tightly closed.
