Neutralizer and antioxidant. The use of this formulation is indicated at the end of phosphating or acid pickling cycles. It is also indicated and recommended as an antioxidant additive in hydro-pneumatic testing baths for components such as: radiators and radiant panels, holding tanks, fuel tanks, etc.

Use and Applications
FIPROPLUS 704 can be used both with spray techniques and in immersion tanks, using systems constructed from standard steel.
The product is diluted in mains water at the most suitable concentration required for its use.
Passivating neutralizer 30-80 g/lt

Bath Control
Measuring the pH value may be sufficient, which will be carried out using a special device or indicator paper; the values to be maintained depend on the operating method and must range between 10.5 and 12. A more precise control of the bath can be carried out by chemical titration according to the method described below:
using a calibrated pipette, exactly 10 ml of bath is taken, diluted with 20-30 ml of demineralized water, and 4-5 drops of bromocresol green indicator solution are added. The liquid, which will turn blue, will be titrated with a 0.1 N Hydrochloric Acid solution until the color changes from blue to yellow.
The number of ml of Acid used for the color change will correspond to the bath points, from which the concentration can be determined by referring to the following:
