METALFIP 304 is a chemical brightener for copper and its alloys. Suitable for the treatment of brasses with a high copper content, it is an acidic liquid compound to be used as is and, therefore, able to avoid any possible dilution error. Its high solubility in water makes it very easy to rinse after treatment of parts.
.METALFIP 304, within the recommended contact time, does not attack metals as it contains suitable inhibitors.
Usage and Applications
In order to achieve the best polishing results and avoid deterioration of the bath, it is advisable to precede:
Decontamination to remove oils and grease
. Cold rinse, or better, with lukewarm water
Drying
This last operation is recommended in order to avoid the introduction, in the METALFIP 304 bath, of water that, however, can be borne for a maximum of 5-10% of the total volume.
METALFIP 304 can be used in PVC-lined iron baths.

Precautions
METALFIP 304 is a highly acidic product; it is therefore advisable to take all necessary precautions when handling it (goggles, gloves).
In case of contact with skin, wash thoroughly with water.
