METALFIP 332 is an acidic liquid product, formulated for etching aluminium and its alloys, prior to their surface conversion process.
Usage and Applications
METALFIP 332 can be used in aqueous solutions, by dipping and spraying, under the following operating conditions:

Controlling solutions
Free acidity:
.Take 10 ml of bath:
. Dilute in an Erlenmeyer flask with about 50 ml of distilled water.
Add 3-5 drops of methyl orange indicator.
Titrate with NaOH 0.1 N until red to yellow colour change.
The ml of NaOH 0.1 N consumed gives the bath score
A bath prepared at 20 g/l has a bath score of about 18.
