METALFIP 332 is an acidic liquid product, formulated for the etching of aluminum and its alloys, prior to their surface conversion process.
Use and Applications
METALFIP 332 can be used in aqueous solution, by immersion and spray, under the following operating conditions:

Solution control
Free acidity:
Take 10 ml of the bath.
Dilute in an Erlenmeyer flask with approximately 50 ml of distilled water.
Add 3-5 drops of methyl orange indicator.
Titrate with 0.1 N NaOH until the color changes from red to yellow.
The ml of 0.1 N NaOH consumed give the bath points
A bath prepared at 20 g/l has a points value of approximately 18.
